Why I would NOT want to live in Singapore!

Hi,
Searching for countries that have financial penalties for those who choose not to vaccinate and the first one that came up was Singapore. It seems that vaccination is not only compulsory there, but you have fines and imprisonment if you choose not to get the shot. Here is a snip of the text plus you can click on the link below for more information:

“This is the responsibility of the parent or guardian.

The Infectious Diseases Act states that any person guilty of an offence shall in the case of the first offence, be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $10,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 6 months or both.

Our strategy is to work with parents to have every child vaccinated on time.”
